MASON CITY – At 8:00 a.m. Thursday, August 9, the water main will be shut off for installation of a new valve and replacement of water main at 6th Street SE and South Delaware Avenue and will extend south to 9th Street SE and South Delaware Avenue.
Locations one block to the east and west of South Delaware Avenue from 6th SE to 9th SE in this area should not be affected but should take preparations for unexpected interruption to water service in case an unforeseen event occurs.
