RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A Plymouth man who just last month reached a plea deal in a felony criminal mischief case was jailed again early this morning, this time on drug charges.
Jason Carmody Hackett, age 19, was a passenger in a car that was stopped by a Cerro Gordo deputy after midnight today near Ulmus Avenue and Claybanks Avenue. During the course of an investigation during the traffic stop, Hackett was discovered to be in possession of a controlled substance and found to have an open container of booze. He was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, drug possession with intent to deliver, and open container of alcohol.
Hackett remains jailed don $5,000 bond. He is on probation after a guilty plea in a felony criminal mischief case from last year.
