CHARLES CITY – An underage alcohol party led to a call to police and the arrest of a Charles City man for supplying alcohol to minors.
Charles City police were called to a disturbance at the 800 block of B Street on January 11 just before 3 AM in the morning. Officers arrived and sorted out the situation and discovered alcohol, minors and a party at a residence there. After an investigation, officers determined that a male subject, 23-year-old Jonathan Snyder of Charles City had supplied alcohol to minors.
Snyder was arrested and taken to jail. He was later released, pending a January 30 court date. Un-named female minors from Charles City and New Hampton were also cited for possession of alcohol under the legal age limit.
