MASON CITY – A man convicted of domestic abuse last year failed to complete a court-ordered class for batterers and a judge issued a warrant for his arrest.

Thomas Alan Snyder, age 38 of Mason City, was picked up by Mason City police at a residence at the 200 block of 24th Street SW Tuesday at about 5:46 PM. He was wanted on an arrest warrant for skipping his required batterer’s education class after he pled guilty in 2013 to second offense domestic assault. He failed to show up in court on June 30th.

Snyder is being held on $2,000 cash bond.
