In the blink of an eye, the Globe Gazette splashed across the front page that the folks at CES had signed on with Lockheed Martin to provide their expertise and services . It was pointed out that they were going to provide the same method and  technology as was being proposed here in Mason City.  Sounds good but it was not true…..there had been nothing signed.

Everyone who is smart enough to pass the drivers test knows which side the local paper sits on…that is not a secret. What the paper, and those who work there should brush up on is job description. If they are going to work for Bookmeyer then they need to go to City Hall and fill out an employment application….if they are going to continue to inform the population in this area they need to study ethics and due diligence.

There is a lot of veribage in those articles, a lot of nine-dollar words that in the end only amount to small change.

Don’t always agree with your articles Peter but love to read them because so often they challenge us to think. There will always be the bottom feeder critics or gutless wonders from drunkmeyers camp. The Globe will continue to be a narrow minded waste of paper. Oh silly me.

Peter-Peter, don’t let clowns like “sick of it” get to you. If they ever had an original thought it would kill them. All they can do is 2nd guess someone else that is smarter than they are and try to bring you down to their level. This is a blog, not a english paper.

“There is a lot of veribage in those articles, a lot of nine-dollar words that in the end only amount to small change.” You may want to stick to simple and small words you can spell correctly.
