SHEFFIELD, IOWA – A man died after an auto accident in Sheffield late Thursday night.
On January 23, 2020 at 11:30 PM the Sheffield Police responded to an accident in the 300 block of N 2nd Street in Sheffield. It was a single vehicle accident with 1 male occupant. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation so the name of the driver is not being released at this time.
The Sheffield Police were assisted by Deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Sheffield Fire Department.
