CHARLES CITY – Two women were caught stealing at a Charles City retail store last week.
Charles City police officers took a theft report on Monday, January 20th at about 11:37 AM from the KMart store, located at 1405 South Grand Avenue. Two local women, 30-year-old Miranda Moses and 31-year-old Crystal McCalister were charged with fifth degree theft after attempting to steal $48.81 worth of merchandise and placed under arrest.
Both were soon released from jail on their own recognizance.
Both McCalister and Moses were set to appear in court Friday.
