MASON CITY – A local meth dealer plead guilty and was sentenced in court today to ten years in prison.
David W. Garber was sentenced to prison today at the courthouse on a previous court case brought by the Drug Task Force on January 10, 2013, for delivery of methamphetamine.
David William Garber, age 33, plead guilty to one count of felony C controlled substance violation for delivery of methamphetamine in exchange for the state dropping a second charge of the same. Judge Colleen Weiland sentenced Garber to 10 years in prison. She suspended a $1,000.00 fine. The first arrest was made by Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs on January 3rd, 2013. The second charge, which was dropped, was from a drug task force arrest on January 10th, 2013. Both times, Garber tried to deal meth.
Garber is now in the Cerro Gordo County Jail awaiting transport to prison.

It is a state charge. he will be out in about a year and will be back on the street selling the crap again.
