HANLONTOWN – A Dumont man was busted by police Saturday evening with drugs as he was parked in the road.
According to a report, a Cerro Gordo county deputy was dispatched at about 6:46 PM Saturday to a suspicious vehicle parked in the roadway near 24600 Grouse Avenue in Hanlontown.
Cody Michael Bertram, age 22, was arrested on a valid Butler County Warrant (possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver) , two counts of possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine and marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bertram is now in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $5,000 cash/surety bond.
Bertram is a convicted felon, found guilty in 2009 and 2010 of 3rd degree burglary and a felony controlled substance violation in 2010. Bertram now faces a parole violation and is held with no bond on that charge at this time.
