Clear Lake, Iowa – Colin Murphy announced today that he authored a chapter entitled Creating Reasonable Doubt Through Independent Forensic Investigation in the Aspatore Inside the Minds book Defending DUI Vehicular Homicide Cases, 2013 ed. recently published by West, a Thompson Reuters company.
About Colin Murphy
Colin Murphy practices primarily in OWI/DUI trial defense in Iowa. He is a certified operator of the DataMaster breath testing device and is trained in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing/DUI Investigation. Colin also received advanced training in forensic blood and urine analysis for alcohol and drug testing. He frequently lectures on these topics and serves as a consultant to other attorneys in the areas of field sobriety and chemical testing. Colin is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, Inc. and the NORML Legal Committee.
He received his B.A. in General Science-Biology from Grinnell College. Colin earned his J.D. with Honors from Drake Law School where he also served as Research Editor for the Drake Law Review.
