(Mason City) – The Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health is pleased to announce another LIVE Community Wellness Conversation with Fitness Wright Now partners, Daniel Wright and Rebecca Meyer, former contestants of NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.” This month’s conversation will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Clear Lake City Park by the band shell. October’s Community Wellness Conversation topic will be “What’s your Motivation to be Healthy?” The conversations are part of a year-long series sponsored by the Health Department to allow residents the opportunity to ask questions and learn from individuals who have lived through the struggles of weight management and health problems and overcome the obstacles to lead healthier lives.
Wright and Meyer will also be hosting a group fitness class before the LIVE Community Conversation from 5:30 – 6:30 PM along the Clear Lake City Beach. The pair will lead participants through a fitness class requiring the use of outdoor amenities to complete a total body workout.
The fitness class is designed to educate participants on the ease and affordability of exercising without gym memberships or expensive equipment. The fee to participate in the class is $15 or $10 if participant brings two friends. Participants can pay at the beginning of the class.
