MASON CITY – A man convicted of a sex offense who was wanted for failing to register turned himself in on Thursday.
James Chris Landrum, 20, living in Mason City but showing “WHEREABOUTS UNCONFIRMED” on the iowasexoffender.com website reported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail on Thursday at 1:36 PM.
Landrum committed a sex offense in 2007 in Arkansas when he was just 14 years old against a victim in the age range of 0-13 years old, according to records.
