ALGONA, Iowa – Bishop-Garrigan standout and All-State selection Emily Bell has committed to playing for NIACC basketball for the 2012-2013 season.
Bell earned Iowa Newspaper Association 1st-Team All-State and Iowa Girl’s Coaches Association 2nd-Team All-State honors in Class 1A last season, and was also one of the top three-point shooters in the state.
The NIACC was 12-19 last year and sixth in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference. Bell will be part of an influx of freshman as five of the seven players on NIACC’s roster last season will not return next season.
