  1. Hey, daddy…how about get a job instead of being a dead beat loser and doing so much STUPID stuff! Be a man your dad can look up too…instead of making him another hoodlum like yourself!!

  2. I couldn’t tell you how many times iv been on the southbridge mall roof growing up, To call them individuals that got caught out they names is wrong in to many wayz. Meth has nothin to do wit it, I believe they went on the roof outv bordum. Blame that on mason shitty were their is nothing legal to do for fun. I blame the reason they may be tweekers on mason shitty. All there is to do in that town is a lot of CRYSAL METH!!! Part of the reason I am a FORMER mason cityien!!

    1. There are plenty of things to do in Mason City, should you desire. It is all up to you, how you behave, who you call friends. No one held a gun to their head. No one forced them.

I would instead look at where they got the idea what they did was acceptable behavior. Parents? Education?

Perhaps it’s time we engage our young folk, challenge them. But also hold the parents equally accountable. After all, if they cannot control their kids, the ‘state’ might have to do it for them. It has worked in other communities.

      1. I am so tired of people saying there’s nothing to do in this town, always the excuse when they get into trouble. Roller City is once again open, we have a very nice movie theatre, or how about getting a job??? These people are certainly old enough to be working. And to Former Mason Cityan, the mall rood isn’t a place for people to just hang out and drink and whatever else they were doing up there. It is private property, havec some respect for what doesn’t belong to you.

      2. I am so glad you mentioned that the mall roof is private property. It really hits at the heart of the whole affair.

  3. LOOSERS…. I mean YOU…YES YOU… nothing to do but gossip and talk about what others are doing!! Go do something yourself!! Get yourself in the paper… something but sit in your basement and talk shit on the internet! Pathetic..IOWA (idiots out walking around) LOOSERS!!! GET A LIFE (WEST SIDE BITCHES-HB DOGGIE)

    1. You are calling people out for gossiping on THIS site. That’s funny. That is all Peter usually does.Have you read the Ford Dealership blog,Grand theft auto? All that blog is gossip, conjecture , theory or to put it in your terms “shit talking”. While I agree none of this helps anything, why call out individuals when the this Web site promotes this kind of dialog.

    1. It would be a “bullshit charge” if only those who were drinking were of age, located on private property, and were not disturbing the people who were trying to sleep and had to get up for work the next day below them.

    2. That door doesn’t allow them to trespass on the roof of the mall. Also doesn’t allow them to break the law while underage drinking. It’s not bullshit, they broke the law and were caught. Suck it up, buttercup.

  4. Them Minert sisters are quite the tweakers.. they should’ve just jumped off the roof. Make Mason City a little cleaner HA

    1. Minert sisters… daddy is loaded (Harley Davidson) and can wa$h away their crimes – if you know what I mean….

      1. Yep, back in my day it was the morals and the bergos who got by with eveything. Now it’s the minarts with the money money.

      2. I grew up with the Morels and the Bergos. They were and are good people.Every family usually has some problems with their teenage children.I know when I was that age I did some pretty stupid stuff.

  5. I live above Moorman Clothiers and totally heard people on my roof twice last week. I bet these were the goonies.

  6. Quite the cadre of lost souls here. Drinking booze on the roof of the mall. What a waste of time and life. Haven’t I seen a few of these teens in the news recently for other offenses?
