CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man was arrested late Saturday for assault.

Wayne David Lones, age 34, was booked just after midnight Sunday on a charge of simple domestic assault. He was soon released on his own recognizance.

Lones is out of jail prior to this assault charge on an appeal bond posted by Sun Surety Insurance Company. He plead guilty in March to third offense operating while intoxicated after Mason City police stopped him last January. He had been released from jail on April 17 as his appeal works through the court system. He faces five years in prison and $4893.63 in fines and court fees if his appeal fails. He already pled guilty in 2009 to felony third offense operating while intoxicated and got probation, 45 days in jail and six months in Beje Clark.

Do they let perps hang upside-down for their booking photo?

Is he short? Alot of short jerks seem to abuse women.

He is not a Clear Lake man. Just another import.
