It seems that the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department had their work cut out for them Saturday evening and early Sunday morning in Rockwell. According to the sheriff’s department media report, they dealt with the following issues Saturday night and early Sunday morning:
Disorderly/Disturbance, Reported: 07-02-2011, 1734 pm
Deputy responded to a complaint about a series of large explosions heard over 1 mile away. When Deputy arrived resident was in the process of making homemade “fireworks”. Resident cited and released.
