The suspects, that were discribed as a black male and a black female wearing a blond wig, headed west on 122 towards Clear Lake. They were spotted at Walmart and chased to Jonquil Ave., still on 122.
Witnesses say it was the female that allegedly did the scamming. She was handcuffed and taken back to the Dollar Tree for identification. HyVee West said that she had tried to do the same thing to them. She confused the cashier and the cashier called the manager. She didn’t get anything there.
