Michael M. Peckham, 70, of Oelwein, Iowa, died Sunday morning, March 22, 2026, at Grandview Health Care Center in Oelwein, Iowa.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Michael Monroe Peckham was born June 23, 1955, in Oregon, the son of Robert Monroe and Glenna (Gilreath) Peckham. In 1973, he graduated from Fullerton High School in Fullerton, California. On August 10, 1991, he was united in marriage to Lisa Lynn Rohrick in North Carolina. For many years, he was employed as a service manager for Big River Equipment in Waterloo, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing softball, fixing things, making steak fajitas, barbecuing, his dogs, and spending time with his brother and grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his wife: Lisa Peckham of Oelwein; 5 children: Shane Peckham of Oelwein, Jennifer Peckham of California, Jody Westendorf of Oelwein, Jennifer Westendorf of Independence and Jamie Westendorf (Dan Bantz) of Oelwein; 8 grandchildren: Tristan Green, Tatum Green, Haley Westendorf, Makenna Wrieden, Jayven Meike, Samantha Bantz, Alyssa Bantz and Danielle Bantz, 2 great grandchildren: Maverick Hancock and Cecilia Green; brother: Robbie (Shelly) Amen of Oelwein; stepfather: Ron Herron of California; and stepsiblings: Galen and Cheryl of Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister: Kathy.
