Margaret “Peggy” Lynn Anderson, 61, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Margaret Lynn Stykel was born May 1, 1964, to Clifford and Lois (Paine) Stykel. She grew up and received her education in the Garner-Hayfield School District.
Peggy was a free spirit and moved to California, where she lived for many years. During her time there, she worked as a bartender and in housekeeping at a college. She later returned to the Midwest, where she held various housekeeping jobs and eventually worked at Winnebago Industries.
Peggy was blessed with two sons, Robert and Ronald. She later met Tom Anderson in Clear Lake. Their first date was a Harley motorcycle ride around the lake, followed by dinner at PM Park. From there, their love blossomed, and they were married on June 12, 2010.
In her free time, Peggy enjoyed crocheting and needlework. She loved being around children, was a huge animal lover, and treasured the many memories she made with her nieces and nephews. Peggy had a spicy personality, was full of life, and loved being around people.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Anderson; her son, Ronald(Skylar) Cummings; her siblings, Cindy Danielson, Bruce (Vicki) Stykel, Holly (Kevin) Kuhlman, Paul (Bonnie) Stykel, and Stacy (Richard) Anderson; her sister-in-law, Linda Hughes; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law, Kenneth (Eunice) Anderson, her son Robert Stykel, brother-in-law, Dick Danielson and her sister Audrey Haag.
