Leo Paul Stahl, 93, of Humboldt, passed away on Friday March 6, 2026 at New Homestead in Guthrie Center, Iowa.

Leo was born on January 27, 1933 in LuVerne, Iowa, the son of Paul and Marie (Heinen) Stahl. He married Patricia Ann Hanrahan on January 26, 1957 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Humboldt. Leo was employed by Gunder Manufacturing in Dakota City and was employed there for 50 years. Leo liked to play pool, play cards, golfing and fishing. He always enjoyed being with family, especially the grandchildren.

Leo is survived by his children, Lisa (Daryl) Muhlbauer, Bob (Kelly) Stahl and Nick (Kathy) Stahl, his grandchildren, Chad, Cole, Courtney, Sam, Rachel, Chase, Andie, Betsy and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mildred Stahl, wife Patricia (Hanrahan) Stahl, his brother James Stahl and sister Mary Jane DeMarre.

A Celebration of Life of Life for Leo will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30th at 716 Main in Humboldt. Private Family Graveside Services will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Humboldt. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.
