Daniel J. Battleson, 56 of Forest City, died unexpectedly on December 26, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Center in Forest City, Iowa.
Upon his wishes he was cremated and Celebration of Life services will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. with a short service at 6:15 P.M. on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Schott Funeral Homes, 505 North Clark St. Forest City, Iowa 50436.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Daniel Battleson memorial fund in care of the family.
Dann Battleson was born on September 3, 1969. He graduated from Britt High School in 1988 and lived in various parts of North Iowa since school. He was employed at Cummings in Lake Mills, Mosaic in Forest City, and Diamond Jo’s Casino in Northwood throughout the years.
Dann always started his day with a smile and a positive outlook, which made him a wonderful person to be around and a great listener. He was inspiring and will always be remembered fondly. Sadly, he left the world too soon and those who knew him will always cherish the memories they made together.
