June 21, 1953 – December 30, 2025

Randy Heise, 72, of Charles City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at his home.

A visitation for Randy will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City.

Randy graduated from Charles City High School in 1971. He married Sharon Mrachek in 1973. This union was blessed with two daughters, Jolene and Janel. The couple later divorced.

After high school Randy worked for White Farm, for Bob Frisbie, and Floyd County, while also helping his dad farm. In 1985, he purchased a farm two miles west of Colwell and started farming full-time. He raised limousin cattle, corn, and hay. Cattle was his passion. He raised all his own calves and finished them all out, and he knew how to finish them all out! He worked hard and it showed! One thing to this day we will never know, was his cattle call of “C’mon Boys!” when they were all girls. They knew it was his voice and always came when called.

Randy was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, and his faith was very important to him. Randy had the gift-of-gab and said it how it was. He was an avid sports fan, but especially for the Green Bay Packers. He would say, “life is too short to not watch the Packers”.

Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Jolene (Lyn) Goodwill of Charles City and Janel (Travis) Jones of Ionia; grandchildren: Alysha, Mackenzy “Jr.”, and Kaleb “Pete”; the Foster families; and his faithful companion, Mic.

Randy is being met in heaven by his parents, Harold “Pete” and Arlene (Venz) Heise; sister and brother-in-law, Allison and Larry Foster; and niece, Holly Ann Foster.
