CHARLES CITY – This Charles City man accused of lascivious acts with a child and indecent exposure has proclaimed his innocence – but has found himself back behind bars.

NIT previously reported that on July 22, 2025, a crime against a child allegedly took place in their community. That same day, they filed charges in Floyd county district court against 42-year-old Andrew Allen Wolfe of Charles City. An arrest warrant was approved by a judge the next day. On July 25 at 7:01 PM, officers armed with the arrest warrant went to the 200 block of 16th Avenue and located the suspect, Wolfe, and placed him under arrest on the following charges:

– LASCIVIOUS CONDUCT WITH A MINOR (SERIOUS MISDEMEANOR) (TWO COUNTS)

– INDECENT EXPOSURE (SERIOUS MISDEMEANOR)

Wolfe (pictured at top) was taken to the Floyd county jail, but soon bonded out as he awaited further court appearances.

At an August 22 arraignment, Wolfe and his public defender entered a not-guilty plea. However, that same day, Wolfe was accused of violating the terms of his pre-trial release and a judge issued a warrant for his arrest. Charles City police went to the 500 block of Riching Street, where they located Wolfe and arrested him on the warrant. He is now in the Floyd county jail, held on a $15,000 cash-only bond.
