
CHARLES CITY – This Charles City man was nabbed by police on a warrant for alleged unspeakable acts with a child, but has already bonded out of jail as he awaits the possibility of trial.
According to Charles City police, on July 22, 2025, a crime against a child took place in their community. That same day, they filed charges in Floyd county district court against 42-year-old Andrew Allen Wolfe of Charles City. An arrest warrant was approved by a judge the next day. On July 25 at 7:01 PM, officers armed with the arrest warrant went to the 200 block of 16th Avenue and located the suspect, Wolfe, and placed him under arrest on the following charges:
– LASCIVIOUS CONDUCT WITH A MINOR (SERIOUS MISDEMEANOR) (TWO COUNTS)
– INDECENT EXPOSURE (SERIOUS MISDEMEANOR)
Wolfe (pictured at top) was taken to the Floyd county jail and booked in at 7:20 PM. He bonded out of jail using Lederman Bail Bonds at 5:41 PM on July 28. Wolfe was appointed a public defender as a judge handed out a no-contact order against Wolfe, reference the alleged victim. He now awaits arraignment scheduled for August 22 at 9:15 AM.
