Diane Marie Meyers was born on March 28, 1961, in Faulkton, South Dakota. She graduated high school in 1979 in Joliet, Wyoming. Diane moved to Algona where she met Ron Meyers in 1985. They were united in marriage on February 2, 1987. They made their home in Irvington.

Her number one priority in life was her family. She spent a lot of time with her grandkids making memories. Diane’s favorite pastime was gathering her kids and grandkids in for her homemade meals and germen chocolate cake. Being outdoors, camping and fishing with family was her paradise. Diane was an animal lover with her cats and dog. You could usually find her at the table doing spectacular diamond paintings to gift to people.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Ron; daughter Rachel (James) Yount, son Casey (Tasha) Meyers, daughter Angela (Simon T.) Henry, son Joe Meyers; grandkids Alex, Dylan, Charlotte, Brayden, Tommy and Waylynn; sister Debra (Craig) Tokach; brothers Dennis (Vickie) Connell and Steve (Caroline) Connell and her beloved pets: Mama, Zeus, Happy Feet and Cloud.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Ronald Horning-Connell; son-in-law Simon T. Henry; grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
