Randy L. Linderman, 63, of Mason City, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania. Randy Lee Linderman was born on March 7, 1961, in Charles City, Iowa to parents Robert Linderman and Margaret (Weber) Linderman. Randy attended Mason City Schools, and later was united in marriage to Sandra Chisholm on October 3, 1981. Two children were born to this union: Holly and Matt.
Randy worked various jobs over the years and enjoyed over the road truck driving. His hobbies included fishing, racing, grilling, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Randy met his life partner, Amy Haas in 2012, and the couple were blessed to spend 12 years together.
Randy is survived by Amy Haas; children, Holly (Chris) Farghum, Matt Linderman, Amanda (Matt) Paulsen, and Sam (Jacob) Bartholomew; one sister, Sue (Todd) Shipman; grandchildren, Emma and Ava Farghum, Addisyn and Brayden Linderman, Aiden and Brooklyn Paulsen, Jameson, Max, Jack, and Bennett Bartholomew; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by parents, wife, Sandy; sister, Laura; brother, Michael; daughter-in-law, Alicia; maternal and paternal grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
