ROCKWELL – A Rockwell woman lost control of her motorcycle and ended up in a ditch Saturday afternoon and was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
On Saturday, August 19th, 2023, at approximately 3:52 PM, the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle motorcycle accident just west of Warbler Avenue on 150th Street. The driver, 28-year-old Michaela Hansen of Rockwell was eastbound on 150th Street when he lost control of the motorcycle, and left the roadway, ending up in the south ditch. The sheriff’s department says Hansen was wearing a helmet and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Mason City by ambulance, with undisclosed injuries.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Dougherty Fire Department and the Mason City Fire Department.
