ROCKWELL – Tragedy struck near Rockwell this weekend when a child died after driving a go-cart and colliding with a boat trailer.
On August 15th, 2021 the Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Office responded to 4628 Olive Avenue near Rockwell for a collision involving a juvenile female. Bryclynn Blue Blackdeer, 7 years old, of Rockwell was operating a homemade go-cart when it collided with a boat trailer. Blackdeer died as a result of her injuries sustained from the collision.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Rockwell-Swaledale First Responders and Mason City Fire Department.
