FAYETTE COUNTY – A Northern Iowa man has been arrested for enticing a 12-year-old girl.
After a week long investigation, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Tyler James Tessmer of Arlington, Iowa. The investigation showed that Tessmer did solicit a 12-year-old female to engage in a sex act with him. A search warrant was conducted on his residence where electronic devices were seized and a large amount of drug paraphernalia was discovered. A warrant of arrest was issued and he was later arrested at a residence in Cresco and was taken into custody and transported to the Fayette County Jail.
Tessmer was charged with Class D felony Lascivious acts with a child and possession of drug Paraphernalia. This is an ongoing investigation and more charges could be filed.
