RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A Mason City woman is facing a felony drunk driving charge after she was caught early Saturday morning in rural Cerro Gordo county.
A Cerro Gordo county deputy stopped a vehicle on Saturday, October 21 at about 12:36 AM near Lark Avenue and 265th Street. The driver of the allegedly speeding vehicle was 34-year-old Christina Maria Turner. After an investigation, Turner was arrested for felony third-offense operating while intoxicated. She was jailed and soon released, pending a court date.
Records show Turner was guilty of assault after a guilty plea this month after being charged by Mason City police.
