MASON CITY – A clothing store in the Southbridge Mall in Mason City will close its doors.
Vanity Stores announced via its website that all of its stores are closing. They say everything must go, including store fixtures and furnishings. There was no immediate time frame for the local store closure, and the company website lacked details other than to say all stores will close.
Vanity has 137 stores in many states across the country.

Mason City will soon be a ghost town
Everyone must vote NO as this is just a scam for the drunken Mayor. What a waste of good money. Just open it up for a huge transition home for our lazy folk here in cerro gordo county. Oh by the way that new chicken farm will need help.
1 more reason to vote down the slush fund LEVY tuesday – how stupid can you be to give them more of your hard earned money – probably use it for public servant benefits such as the teachers receive $1000 per year CASH benefit on day of retirement – I know many public servants who have received this cash give away. $30,000.00 is a nice present – what did you get ??
Are you referring to early retirement bonuses? If so, they do that because it actually saves the district (and taxpayers) money.
Another one bites the dust in the obsolete mall!
I haven’t been in this nothing mall in years…
Is there tumbleweeds in there….
They kept waiting for the Mason City store to take them over the top and bring them into the red, but that didn’t happen. Now they all have to close. 🙂 LOL
Do you mean “into the black?”
