MASON CITY – Law enforcement raced to a North End park Wednesday evening when an argument started to spiral out of control.
According to Mason City police, an incident Wednesday evening, April 1, 2015:
“Appears to have been some type of verbal argument between a male and female juvenile in or near Monroe Park at 7:07 pm. The male juvenile took off running from the scene. Deputies and officers looked for the subject and apprehended him but the female did not want to press charges. The male juvenile, Armando Ramon, 15 of Mason City, was charged with Interference with Official Acts, transported home, and released to a parent. A 2nd male juvenile friend started to interfere and was briefly detained. The 2nd male was not charged.”
Ramon’s case was referred to Juvenile Court Services.
