CHARLES CITY – A youth was taken to the hospital Wednesday after an accident in Charles City.
Charles City police were called to the corner of F Street and 4th Avenue at about 9:00 AM Wednesday morning for a report of an accident where a silver 2004 Yamaha moped operated by a minor from Charles City lost control and tipped over.
The youth was transported to the Floyd County Medical Center for treatment, and the person’s name was not released by police. Estimated damage to the moped was $200.
