Identity thief nabbed by Charles City cops on warrants

CHARLES CITY – Police in Charles City were able to and a wanted man this week.

Police came into contact with 33-year-old William Hruska of Ridgeway, Iowa at the 600 block of Gilbert Street, on Wednesday, October 8 at about 2:17 AM.

Police detrained that Hruska was wanted on two warrants for fifth degree theft out of Howard county and placed him under arrest. He was taken to jail and was soon released.

Hruska has been convicted of theft, identity theft, and other crimes in Iowa.
