MASON CITY – Around 8:40 am Thursday, the Mason City Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at Marshall & Swift. They were asking for more barricades to block the roads, but put the fire out fast. Barricades were cancelled.
The fire was reported to have been in the alley between Third and Second Street, in a storage garage behind Marshall & Swift. Little or no damage was reported.
Mason City police were at the scene.
