MASON CITY – A wanted man was arrested early Friday by police.

Sean Patrick Secora, age 23, was stopped by Cerro Gordo deputies Friday just after midnight at 12th Street NW and Taylor Avenue. Secora was wanted on warrant for failing to show up in court for an arraignment hearing related to a charge of public intoxication. He had been wanted since April 16. Secora had also failed to complete an evaluation at Prairie Ridge Treatment Center.

Secora posted $2,000 cash bond and was released from jail.

  1. OK, he was arrested because he failed to show up. So, they LET him out on $2,000 bond? I believe that is only $200 cash or 10%. Makes no sense. Just cost us more money. They need to stop this crap.
