marijuana smokeTIFFIN, IOWA – Five men were caught last week smoking marijuana inside a car in a school parking lot, surrounded by school buses.

The Johnson county, Iowa sheriff’s department reported that on April 29, 2014, five men were reported to be smoking marijuana at the Clear Creek Middle School parking lot in Tiffin, Iowa. The men, all about the age of 21, had pulled into the parking lot in a white sedan and parked between a group of school buses, and later admitted to police that they went there with the intention to smoke marijuana. One of the men had an orange bong and a broken glass pipe. Another had a silver and blue grinder in the center console of the car, containing suspected marijuana. A green colored pipe was being used in the back seat by the other suspects to smoke.

Police were called, and a Johnson county deputy investigated the situation. He located a small bag with a “leafy green substance” suspected to be marijuana, on the floor in the back seat of the car; it later tested positive for marijuana.

All five men were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
