WARREN COUNTY, IOWA – An Iowa mother has lost her 2-year-old son after an auto accident Tuesday afternoon south of Des Moines.
According to a report from the Iowa State Patrol, 2-year-old Jacob Matthew Saffell was killed after a van driven by his mother, 31-year-old Jennifer Luanne Saffell of Lacona, Iowa, crossed the center line as it was eastbound on Highway 65 and struck a westbound semi-truck. Jennifer Saffell was transported by helicopter to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. Jacob was transported by ground ambulance to the state medical examiner’s office.
The accident remains under investigation.

really allen do you suppose they will just get everything cleaned up and have no investigation.
How tragic, I’d say an investigation is needed.
