Mason City police seek help locating missing woman

MASON CITY – The Mason City Police Department is requesting the public’s help with a missing person investigation. Jane Schreur (aka Jane Mikkelson), age 31, was last seen in Mason City on May 22, 2019. She was possibly wearing jeans, a sweatshirt and a gray hooded windbreaker. Jane is described as a white female approximately 5’7” tall, 170 pounds with green eyes, glasses and dark blonde hair.

On November 22, 2019, a relative reported that family has not seen or heard from Jane for 6 months. Because of Jane’s health history and lengthy absence, a missing person investigation was initiated on Nov 22, 2019. Leads have been exhausted and the MCPD is asking for the public’s help for new leads to locate Schreur. Circumstances around her disappearance are unknown at this time.

Ya. No mention of this before the last couple days. Isnt this “skeeter”? That’s what they called her in highschool. Maybe it’s not but I cant imagine two women that look like this. Pretty messed up that we get the news about dindu Africans commiting crime, all the news about child molesters and dopers, but non about an innocent women who went missing. Good job on the journalism north iowa today/kimt/globe. You’re all worthless losers lol. This is the proof.

Wow! She has been missing for a long time. And, they are just now reporting it?

It takes awhile to get rid of a body.
