MASON CITY – A local man was arrested over the weekend for drunk driving after his car crashed.
According to police, on February 7th, Roger Lee Myhre, age 35 of Swaledale, was traveling southwest of Mason City when his car went in the ditch near Mallard Avenue and 230th Street. A deputy came across the vehicle in the ditch at about 11:42 PM. Myhre was arrested for 2nd offense operating while intoxicated and failure to maintain control.
Myhre was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail and was later released, pending a court hearing.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
