Arrests of former employees disappoint dealership owner

Press Release from James T. Skarlis (pictured) of Waterloo, IA, Owner of Community Auto Group and Mason City Ford Lincoln:

I am very disappointed that several long time Mason City Ford Lincoln employees have been involved in acts that lead to their arrests yesterday.

We are very appreciative of the extraordinary efforts of the Mason City Police Department and lead investigator Terrance Prochaska who were able to uncover these schemes.

Mason City Ford Lincoln customers can rest assured that the results of the investigation revealed only internal improprieties.  All day to day sales and service transactions were not in any way affected.  Of course if any customers have any questions please feel free to call the dealership.

Also, I would like to thank all of the faithful employees of Mason City Ford Lincoln and Community Motors of Mason City.  Their hard work, patience and perseverance during the last two stressful months of dealing with this issue has been much appreciated.

why, after all the time that has passed without any new comments, did you remove ALL the comments? I could see if someone posted something slanderous. but then only delete that one statement. Which would have been the LAST comment and very easy to find. It was the longest commented story on here untill rants came to be. however rants is about anything and everything so it really wouldnt count as the most popular (commented)story. I thought this site wasnt about censorship. why would you remove ALL the posts? Again it wasnt because of a slanderous comment. Also it wasnt about being off topic or it would have been removed long ago. its not for freeing up space as there are many many other older posts on here. just wondering
