Proposed Improvement to Iowa 4 in Calhoun and Pocahontas Counties to Be Discussed April 25

iowadotlogoAMES, Iowa – April 12, 2013 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Thursday, April 25,to discuss the proposed resurfacing of Iowa 4, from south of Pomeroy in Calhoun County to 0.2 mile north of the Iowa 7 junction in Pocahontas County.

The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Pomeroy Community Building, 111 South Ontario Street (across from city hall).

This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvement. No formal presentation will be made.

During resurfacing, Iowa 4 traffic would be detoured under CN’s railroad overpass using Third Street, Ontario Street and Center Street in Pomeroy.
