Liberal Iowa political activist decries promotion of legislators who “ignore” sexual harassment

DES MOINES – A liberal Iowa political activist today decried the promotion of Republican legislators who “ignore” sexual harassment.

Progress Iowa Executive Director Matt Sinovic issued the following statement after the election of leadership in the Iowa Senate today:

Matt Sinovic of Progress Iowa
with his political allies
Amanda Ragan and Sharon Steckman

“Whitver and Schneider were part of the Senate leadership team that fired an employee for reporting harassment, brought a $1.75 million judgment that Iowa taxpayers have to cover, and did all they could to ignore the issue after the fact. Now, they’re being promoted.  The ability of Iowa Republicans to stick their heads in the sand and hope this issue goes away is astonishing and appalling.”

Progress Iowa bills itself as a multi-issue progressive advocacy organization. Year-round, Progress Iowa claims to advocate for a “stronger middle class, first-class public education, and fairness for all Iowans under the law.”

Earlier, Governor Kim Reynolds and an Iowa Democratic leader issued statements on the development.

How about DECRIEING the poisioning of Iowa waterways and drinking water by chinese backed hog farms OH! the MATRIX or MAZE as its proper name is LAW and will SAVE US ALL -.By the way! Who own/runs the PINNACLE GROUP that sets up these hog farms so they pass state laws that are dangerous to public health for the benefit of a foreign country.?

Great questions. I’ll bet you don’t get a answer.

Actually a stupid question which has been answered over and over again. The public wanted cheap meat and didn’t care where it came from until it showed up in their backyard.

And, that was a stupid answer. That wasn’t the question. You are a prime example of a liberal education. You can’t understand a simple question.

It is obvious you don’t understand capitalism. These buildings get built because people buy the end product not caring how it is produced. Besides, the first comment had nothing to do with the article, it was just written by someone who likes to hear themselves complain and will never offer any real solutions to the problem.
