MASON CITY – The NIACC men’s basketball team fell out of the NJCAA Division II poll Tuesday.
The Trojans (10-3 overall) were ranked No. 3 last week They dropped decisions to Rochester Community and Technical College and Kirkwood Community College.
NIACC snapped its two-game losing streak with a 90-51 victory over Madison College last Sunday. The Trojans return to action Sunday at home against the Waldorf College junior varsity.
DMACC (11-3 overall) is ranked No. 10 in this week’s poll. Louisburg College (North Carolina) took over the No. 1 spot from Mott Community College (Michigan), which fell to No. 4.
Kirkwood received 16 votes and NIACC received 6 votes.
