Larry Dean Banner, 85, of Knoxville, Iowa, and formally of Alden, Iowa, passed away November 5, 2025, at West Ridge Care Center Knoxville, Iowa. Per his request cremation rites were conducted and private burial occurred at Sherman Cemetery in Buckeye, Iowa, next to his wife.

Larry Dean Banner, 85, of Knoxville, Iowa, and formally of Alden, Iowa, passed away November 5, 2025, at West Ridge Care Center Knoxville, Iowa. Per his request cremation rites were conducted and private burial occurred at Sherman Cemetery in Buckeye, Iowa, next to his wife. Linn’s Funeral Home Iowa Falls Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the family of Larry Banner Memorial, ℅ Linn’s Funeral Home, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126.

Larry Dean Banner was born August 24, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa to James and Neva Blanche (Allen) Banner. On July 26, 1959, Larry was united in marriage to Karen Mae Fry and to this union four daughters were born: Lisa, Christine, Michelle, and Sherri. Larry worked at Farmland Foods for 21 years and then worked at Berry Plastics.

Larry is survived by his daughters: Christine (Kevin) Reiher of Oregon; Michelle Bessman of Alden, Iowa; Sherri Banner of Popejoy; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Karen; his parents; and a daughter Lisa.
