Foot race to benefit Floyd county causes set for Friday, Sept. 21 in Charles City

CHARLES CITY – The annual Floyd County Full Moon 5K will be held in Charles City on Friday, September 21st at Wildwood Park and Gold Course to help support youth facing adversity in the community.

The race starts promptly at 7:00pm and is for runners and walkers of all levels.

Registration of $30 for adults and $25 for kids 12 & under includes chip-timing by True Time Racing, a dri-fit t-shirt (while supplies last), glow gear, a swag bag, and refreshments at the finish line.

All proceeds of the event directly support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Iowa and the Floyd County mentoring program. The agency provides strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change children’s lives for the better, forever.
