CEDAR FALLS – UNI Athletics and its exclusive multimedia rightsholder, LEARFIELD’s Panther Sports Properties, announced today a multi-year broadcast relationship with Coloff Media, based in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

The new agreement provides comprehensive radio coverage for Panther fans across northeast Iowa through the 2025-26 athletic season. Beginning this fall, fans will be able to hear Panther football and men’s basketball broadcasts on KCVM FM 93.5 “The Mix” in Cedar Falls-Waterloo, with expanded radio coverage on KHAM FM 103.1 in Britt, Iowa and KCHA AM 1580/103.3 in Charles City, Iowa.

In addition, all women’s basketball and volleyball games will be heard on “Corn Country” 106.5 FM and 93.5 HD-2 in the Cedar Falls-Waterloo area.

“I would like to thank our partners at LEARFIELD and Coloff Media (93.5 The Mix and Corn Country) for working closely with us on this exciting new partnership,” UNI Director of Athletics David Harris said. “It is always our goal to provide the best coverage of Panther Athletics for our student-athletes and our fans and we feel that Coloff Media will help us continue to expand the coverage of the Panthers. We are thrilled that we now have more consistent broadcast coverage for our volleyball and women’s basketball programs too.”

Football and men’s basketball broadcasts are led by LEARFIELD’s UNI Director of Broadcasting J.W. Cox, who handles play-by-play. Cox enters his second year as the “Voice of the Panthers” and is joined by football color analyst and UNI alum Scott Peterson, who is in his 33rd year as a member of the UNI broadcast team. Volleyball and women’s basketball broadcasts will continue to be led by Chris Kleinhans-Schulz back for his 12th year.

“We are thrilled for this new partnership between UNI Athletics and Coloff Media,” said Jim Coloff, President, and General Manager of Coloff Media, LLC. “As a locally owned Iowa company, we have admired the success of UNI Athletics for years and look forward to many years promoting their winning traditions. We are proud to be able to provide enhanced coverage for their fans and student athletes on 93.5 The Mix in Cedar Falls, and with our radio properties throughout North Iowa and Northeast Iowa.”
