PALO ALTO COUNTY – A Northern Iowa sex offender was nabbed for violating Iowa’s registry.
On April 20, 2022 at 9:56 AM, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Barbara Colleen Tevis, 40, of Milford on a valid Palo Alto County warrant. The warrant was for two counts of Sex Offender Registration Violations, both Class “C” felonies with no bond allowed. Tevis was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await her initial appearance before a magistrate.
Tevis was convicted of lascivious acts with a child back in 2016 when she was 33 years of age. Her victim was a male boy 13 years of age or younger.
