WEST DES MOINES – A man tried to drag a teen into his car, police say, and they are now searching for a suspect.
The incident took place Wednesday, September 6, 2017, shortly after 3 PM, when West Des Moines Police were alerted to a possible attempted abduction of a 15-year-old female juvenile who was walking home from Valley High School.
In an apartment parking lot near the school, a Hispanic male who was operating a black colored Cadillac Escalade pickup (EXT), attempted to force her into his vehicle. After a brief struggle, the female was able to pull away from the male and run to a nearby apartment building for help. Investigators and patrol officers are searching the area for witnesses and evidence.
The West Des Moines Police are asking for the public’s assistance for clues in connection to this incident.

I didn’t realize that West Des Moines was in North Iowa.
When the creep stuffs you into the trunk of his car after he drives up here, you will wish he stayed 2 hours south.
I’m sure the suspect was here in part to DACA.
Probably a illegal.
Thank you so much for a full description of suspect and his vehicle. I’m certain it prevented more abductions. So many young girls go missing every year. Police don’t classify it as abduction unless evidence proves it is.
