MASON CITY – A single vehicle collision hurt a local teen Thursday night.
On August 24, 2017, at approximately 10:35 PM, the Cerro Gordo sheriff’s office responded to the 18000 block of Lark Avenue for a single vehicle collision. The driver, 17-year-old Zoe Frascht of Mason City, was driving a 1994 Chevy Truck north on Lark Avenue when it veered off the road into the east ditch and the vehicle overturned on its top. Frascht was treated for minor injures, but was not transported.
The vehicle is a total loss.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Clear Lake Fire and Rescue and Mason City Fire and Rescue.
